Annie Guo is a second year Master of Environmental Management candidate studying energy policy and finance with a focus on financing strategies that facilitate greater renewable-energy deployment and pathways to bringing clean-energy projects and services to scale. Most recently, Annie worked at the capital advisory desk of Karbone, a financial-services firm, on buy-side renewable-energy-project due diligence.
Prior to coming to Yale, Annie was an energy-efficiency consultant with ICF specializing in public-private-partnerships and market transformation. Her past project experience includes managing the EPA ENERGY STAR products third-party certification program and working with USAID to identify opportunities for energy efficiency in developing economies. Annie holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies and a minor in International Relations from the University of Southern California.
Born and raised in Minnesota, Annie enjoys photography, scuba diving, hiking, and ultimate frisbee.
