With O'Dea's focus on the industrial sector, he has been particularly excited about what former governor Brown had done to begin to address those emissions, particularly through electrification.

Cradle-to-Cradle protocol creator Bill McDonough talked about how he's working to bring the global circular economy into the purview of mainstream business, politics and culture. As the ocean plastics crisis gripped the public and sustainability gets a greater focus in everyday corporate conversations, McDonough is excited by the progress he's seen. Additionally, he's looking forward to GreenBiz's new event solely centering the circular economy launching in June, Circularity
