Soak up VERGE Hawaii through these tweets

Although the GreenBiz VERGE Hawaii event wrapped up yesterday, as long as it’s on the internet, it’ll last forever.

Government officials, nonprofit leaders and company execs — including startups and big names — converged June 12 to 14 in Honolulu to discuss new trends, technologies and themes in the fight against climate change, particularly focusing on Hawaii’s ambitious goals of carbon neutrality and 100-percent renewable energy.

This year’s conference in particular took on extra significance due to the ongoing volcanic eruptions on Hawaii’s Big Island. The theme of climate resilience felt grounded in real-time, nearby events.

The perspectives on the ground are always worth highlighting. Without further ado, these tweets carry over some of the flavor from VERGE Hawaii.
