Traveling is a notoriously high emission activity. From jet fuel in flights to the excessive water use in hotels, tourism has a massive footprint on the world. Luckily, the sustainable tourism movement is growing.
Ernie Nishizaki, the principal and managing member of Acumen Advisor; Daniella Foster, senior director of CSR at Hilton; and Peter Ingram, CEO of Hawaiian Airlines, sat down with GreenBiz’s editorial director, Heather Clancy.
