Ashima leads the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Governments & Cities Programme, engaging and supporting national, regional, and city governments as they transition to a circular economy. Currently, she’s working on developing circular economy implementation projects between city governments and the private sector, spinning up collaborations with city-network organisations, and developing research and tools that are useful for city governments interested in the circular economy. Ashima’s previous work at the Foundation has spanned across the Business and Insights & Analysis teams, and includes a secondment to the World Economic Forum to support the development of their circular economy initiative. Prior to joining the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, Ashima worked with the Strategy & Operations group of Deloitte Consulting in New York. Ashima has lived and worked across India, Singapore, the UK and the US – and can now be found on the Isle of Wight!
