Interim Director, Market Engagement
Institute for Market Transformation
Audi Banny is the Interim Director for Market Engagement. As such, she leads IMT's work with national landlords and tenants, developing new programs such as the Landlord-Tenant Energy Partnership and continuing existing projects that help tenants, government agencies, property owners, and other real estate stakeholders establish the business case for more-efficient leased spaces.
Her work focuses on critical market needs to establish new standards which can be adopted at scale for energy-aligned leasing practices; improve the tenant site selection process; increase transparency of tenant utility consumption in office and retail buildings; promote wide-spread adoption of energy-efficient build-out standards and methods; and increase landlord-tenant interaction to enable energy-saving efforts throughout the course of a buildings life cycle from acquisition to deposition. All of these practices will position landlords and tenants to make smarter, most cost-effective business decisions regarding their operations and leased space. Before joining IMT she was Director of Corporate Sustainability Initiatives for Estee Lauder Companies.
Audi holds a bachelors degree in studio art from the University of South Florida, a bachelors degree in interior design from the School of Art and Design and a master's degree in sustainability management from Columbia University. She is also a LEED AP.
