Ben Soltoff is a freelance writer and startup consultant based in Boston. Previously, he was an environmental innovation manager at Yale University, where he worked with students to explore how new ideas, technologies and business models could address the world’s most pressing environmental problems. His position was split between the Yale Center for Business and the Environment and the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale. Additionally, Ben has worked as a project coordinator for the Vulnerability & Adaptation Initiative at World Resources Institute. He was also with Oxfam America and has worked with small rural development organizations in India and South Africa. Ben holds dual master's degrees from the Yale School of Management and the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Science, as well as a B.S. in Biology and Environmental Sciences and Policy from Duke University.
