Brian Perkins is regional director for the Americas at the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and oversees all activity from Newfoundland to Tierra del Fuego, South America's southernmost point. In 1974, Perkins was introduced to the seafood industry while working at a salt fish factory in Iceland. Over the next 40 years, much of his work revolved around commercial fishing and seafood, including a 16-year tenure running the world's largest seafood shows. He joined the MSC in 2015.
