Caroline Herron is the Project Manager for the Oceti Sakowin Power Authority, a multi-Tribal consortium established to jointly develop Tribal wind and solar resources. Ms. Herron has 30 years of corporate, technology consulting, non‐profit and government experience in policy, product and business development, and project and program management. She established HerronConsulting LLC in 2009 to provide project management, market analysis, business planning and development, and grant writing services to clients in the financial services, telecommunications and renewable energy sectors, with a focus on economic development on Indian Reservations. Prior to consulting, Ms. Herron was an executive at Fannie Mae where she designed and implemented marketing and loan processing solutions for lender partners, managed multiple financial restatement accounting and technology projects, and managed the Sarbanes‐Oxley compliance program. Ms. Herron also led customer engagements at the IT consulting firm AppNet, and held policy and advocacy positions at Hoffmann‐La Roche, Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association, US Department of Health and Human Services, and the Food and Drug Administration. Ms. Herron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Brown University and a Masters in Economics from George Washington University. She was awarded a patent as a co‐inventor for Systems and Methods for Facilitating the Flow of Capital through the Housing Finance Industry (US Patent 8,046,298).
