Christopher Sergeant studies how freshwater ecosystems respond to human activities and an ever-changing environment. Sergeant's research with the University of Montana focuses on the ecology of rivers that cross international boundaries.
Sergeant has a B.S. and M.S. in Aquatic and Fishery Sciences from the University of Washington. Since 2000, Sergeant has held fisheries biologist positions in government, private, and non-profit sectors. Sergeant is working toward a Ph.D. in fisheries at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.
