Claudia Berardi

Claudia Berardi is the Director of Environmental & Social Sustainability for Operations at PMI. She has over 25 years of experience in Good Agricultural Practice, Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability Programs. 

In her current role, she leads development and implementation of strategic programs to help PMI reach carbon neutrality in its direct operations and net zero value chain, as well as halt deforestation across its tobacco and paper and pulp-based products supply chains and enhance biodiversity.  Claudia is also responsible to drive PMI’s sustainability strategy on social and human rights within PMI's operations, and across agriculture and electronics supply chain; leading the strategic work on the ALP and living income programs and enhancing PMI's work on living wage.
