Dr. Dave Thau is the senior developer advocate for Google Earth Engine, Google's satellite image processing platform. He joined Google in 2010, bringing with him 20 years of industry experience developing Internet-based applications. Dave has created and managed software development for Webby Award winning websites, launched two successful startups, written a best-selling computer science textbook that has been translated into seven languages and published scholarly papers in the field of data management.
