VP, Energy Development and Strategy, and Head of Charging
David Felix is Vice President of Energy Development and Strategy and Head of Charging at Inspiration Mobility (“Inspiration”), the first Electrification Accelerator offering turnkey solutions to decarbonize commercial transportation at scale. Inspiration was founded in 2021 with one goal in mind: dramatically accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles by quickly and easily delivering the outcomes that matter to businesses: lower costs, higher reliability, improved safety and driver satisfaction, and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. To achieve these outcomes, Inspiration invests in, finances, builds, and operates whatever assets and solutions organizations and their employees need along every mile of their electrification journeys. Leveraging nearly 20 years of clean energy project development and finance experience, David leads energy and charging strategy, site acquisition and project development for the company. Passionate about accelerating the development of clean energy projects, David’s career spans the cleantech space, including experience in biofuels, renewables, vehicle electrification, and more. Prior to joining Inspiration, David led site acquisition and project development for TeraWatt Infrastructure, an electric vehicle fleet charging company. He was an early member of the Tesla Supercharger project development team, where he energized routes across the United States that had previously never been traveled by electric vehicles. David also led the financing, development and construction of utility-scale solar projects for MMA Energy Capital and NorthLight Power. David holds a MS in Environmental Science and Management from University of California, Santa Barbara and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
