David Grayson CBE Independent commentator, adviser and speaker on Responsible Business, Corporate Sustainability, and collaboration between businesses and other parts of society. David is Emeritus Professor of Corporate Responsibility at Cranfield University School of Management. He was founder director of Cranfield’s Doughty Centre for Corporate Responsibility 2007-17. David joined Cranfield in 2007 after a 30-year career as a social entrepreneur and campaigner for responsible business, economic regeneration, disability rights and diversity. David has chaired several public bodies and charities in the UK. He currently chairs The Institute of Business Ethics and the pan-disablity charity Leonard Cheshire. He is part of the Circle of Advisers for Business Fights Poverty and a member of the faculty for The Forward Institute.David is the author of eleven books. The latest - “The Sustainable Business Handbook,” - is co-authored with Chris Coulter and Mark Lee (Kogan Page 2022). He has also contributed chapters to almost 20 further books.During his career, he has done work with numerous multinational businesses as well as for many Responsible Business coalitions around the world and for the OECD, European Union and the World Bank.
