As sustainability director, David Tulauskas develops GM’s sustainability strategy and ensures alignment with its business model. Activities include collaborating with various functions to embed sustainability into processes; sustainability reporting; target setting; and external engagement with key stakeholders. Tulauskas joined GM in 1991 and has worked in areas such as environmental and facilities engineering, government relations, and product development. He spent nearly half his career in Asia and led the launch of Cadillac vehicles in China. Tulauskas earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from University of Michigan, a master’s in civil/environmental engineering from Wayne State University and an International Executive MBA from Rutgers State University.
