Doug Miller is a systems entrepreneur with over a decade of clean energy industry experience. Currently, he leads Clean Energy Buyers Institute’s (CEBI’s) Next Generation Carbon-Free Electricity Initiative to develop updated voluntary market system infrastructure and activate new procurement options for customers to advance systemic electric grid decarbonization. Complementing the Clean Energy Buyers Association (CEBA) as a public nonprofit research arm, CEBI solves the toughest market and policy barriers to achieve a carbon-free energy system. CEBA is a business trade association that activates a community of energy customers and partners to deploy market and policy solutions for carbon-free energy.
Previously, he gained experience in decentralized clean energy technology development and innovative clean energy business models in his roles at global nonprofits Energy Web and RMI. He also co-founded Zero Labs, a clean energy tech startup. Doug holds a MSc from Imperial College London and B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania with top academic honors.
