With over thirty years of hands on experience in strategy and operations, Shelton has served as a trusted partner and advisor to senior executives at leading companies around the world in high tech, financial services, health care, telecommunications, consumer goods and services, cleantech, education, consulting, and industrial sectors. He is co-author of Making Innovation Work (2013). One of the top selling innovation books, Making Innovation Work was in its 13th printing and had been translated into 10 languages prior to publication of an updated edition in 2013. Shelton is co-founder and board member of a leading incubator in Silicon Valley recognized for its unique contributions by the White House, the California Governor’s Office, and selected as Best US Business Incubator and one of the Ten Top Incubators Changing the World (Forbes and Inc.). He also sits on the Advisory Board of Points of Light, a social incubator.
