Matthew Nordan is a Managing Partner at MNL Partners, which develops energy and environmental projects in China and other high-growth economies. Before MNL, Nordan was a venture capital investor at Venrock – one of the world’s oldest and most successful venture capital firms – where he drove investments in FINsix (power electronics) and Nest Labs (energy efficiency, acquired by Google for $3.2 billion). Earlier, he was President and co-founder of energy tech analyst firm Lux Research and an executive at Forrester Research. He serves on the boards of FINSix, Sense Labs, Quidnet Energy, Boston-Power, and Greentown Labs, and is Co-Founder and Chairman of the Investment Committee of the nonprofit PRIME Coalition. He is a graduate of Yale.
