Scott is President of Imagine H2O, the water innovation accelerator. Scott oversees IH2O’s strategic direction and execution of its mission, the deployment and development of innovation to solve water challenges globally. IH2O connects promising water entrepreneurs with world leaders in industry, government, and social enterprise to help turn new innovations into self-funding, high impact solutions. Since 2009, over 650 water startups in more than 30 countries have participated in IH2O's programming. Today, the organization's portfolio companies collectively represent $1 in every $10 of early stage investment in the water sector. IH2O’s accelerator leverages a global network of 60+ beta customers in the municipal, industrial and agricultural sectors to provide participating startups with customer validation opportunities. The organization, through its annual Water Policy Challenge, is also committed to supporting policies leading to the broader adoption of water technology. IH2O is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supported by corporate and philanthropic partners including Wells Fargo, Suez North America Foundation, American Water, Tetra Tech, Morrison Foerster and the Pisces Foundation.
Prior to joining IH2O, Scott was a financial consultant specializing in cleantech and impact investment strategies for institutional investors at Royal Bank of Canada and Piper Jaffray. He has a BA in Economics from Colorado College.
