Jacqueline Kozak Thiel
Jacqueline Kozak Thiel is the Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Fort Collins. She oversees the Departments of Economic Health, Environmental Services and Social Sustainability. Fort Collins has committed to some of the most ambitious climate action goals in the world with 80% reductions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2050. Thiel previously worked and lived in Hawaii for 12 years and most recently served as the State Sustainability Coordinator for Governor Abercrombie. She worked closely with the counties and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs as a steering committee member of Hawaii Green Growth to launch the Aloha+ Challenge. She received her Master's in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Hawaii as an East West Fellow.
