Beyond Value Chain Circularity Actions and Investments: Moving Towards Outcomes-Based Approaches (Sponsored)

10:30 am - 11:30 am
Location:

Grand Horizon Ballroom B

Trillions of dollars in circularity investments are required to build infrastructure and scale solutions to combat the global waste crisis. In light of this, it is increasingly clear that we require the support of brands and companies in the private sector to extend their circularity efforts beyond their immediate value chains. The key is not just to invest, but to do so in a way that creates clear outcomes to help scale global waste prevention infrastructure. This requires a shift towards Outcomes-Based Financing modalities to ensure companies’ investments create measurable and verifiable results, aligning with crucial circularity interventions (e.g. reuse, refill, substitution, collection, PCR).

Inspired by Earth Action’s recently published, seminal report on Outcomes-Based Financing for Waste Prevention, this session will present key findings from the report, followed by a panel discussion with corporate leaders, on-ground implementers, and technical experts across the value chain on this emerging, yet critically important ecosystem within the circular economy.

This session is sponsored by rePurpose Global. Sponsored breakouts are sponsor-created and hosted sessions, created independently by the sponsor with minimal input from GreenBiz. Please note that attendee contact information will be shared with the sponsoring company.
