Redefining Corporate Value

Details: This event will look at the next frontier of corporate sustainability leadership, with an eye toward understanding how and what we measure and value influences our ability as a society to transform systems upon which we depend from unsustainable to truly sustainable. Attendees will learn about the leading work of the WBCSD in this space, including the Natural Capital Protocol, the Social Capital Protocol and the Redefining Value Program, as well as cutting-edge, applied research from Arizona State University. Recognizing that we have moved beyond the era of business as usual with token sustainability efforts, the program will center on what it takes to catalyze change in the heart of the world’s leading businesses to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Climate Group

The Climate Group is collaborating with Arizona State University, World Business Council on Sustainable Develop and GreenBiz on a special breakout session focused on business’s role in sustainable city growth. The Critical Role of Business for Sustainable Cities session will support the EP100 corporate commitment program by bringing experts to speak about the importance of corporate leadership by example in cities around the world.

Tackling Issues Across Supply Chains

Details: This day will contain a series of TSC members and TSC invited participant workshops highlighting the following "take action" challenges. We will discuss the work to-date and next steps with each category: visibility into commodity supply chains focusing on ag metrics; building partnerships to address risks and drive progress focusing on deforestation and seafood; gaining consensus and standardization across stakeholders and sectors focusing on animal welfare and chemicals; discussion of commodity mapping pilots and new common web tool; and TSC Common Chemical Criteria Task Force meeting (only members of CCCTF).

Principles for Net Positive

This workshop will focus on the draft set of Principles we have developed to guide the Net Positive movement and is a chance for members of the wider stakeholder community to provide us with feedback.

  • Meet influencers from organisations across a range of sectors that are part of the Net Positive movement
  • Try using the draft principles to guide decision making in your organisation
  • Share challenges and learn from others who are implementing Net Positive goals
