Climate change is exacerbating racial inequities. Ensuring an equitable transition to a sustainable future requires companies to look internally at their operations and implement strategies to improve racial disparities. This session will dive into how to approach and succeed with this organizational change management. Learn from Darlene Flynn, the Director of Race and Equity of the City of Oakland who set up the first department of Race and Equity in the country. Participants will engage in a series of activities to assist them in tackling this complex issue.
