Gabriella Tosado

Gabriella "Gaby" Tosado is an associate with RMI’s Carbon-Free Electricity Program, where she uses her skills in data analysis and research to support rapid utility transition to low-carbon electricity systems. Tosado works on creating resources and databases that help utilities and advocates decarbonize the electric grid in a quick and cost-effective manner. She has a Ph.D. from the University of Washington and brings experience from her work at the Clean Energy Institute on new materials and devices for solar photovoltaic energy. Tosado also worked in solar energy deployment in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, where she studied the intersection of energy and health while providing solar battery systems to power medical devices.
