Geoffrey Henderson
Project Specialist for China FAQs
World Resources Institute Climate Program
Geoffrey Henderson is the Project Specialist for ChinaFAQs within WRI’s Global Climate Program. In this role, he works to facilitate a network of internationally renowned experts in answering critical questions about Chinese policies and actions on energy and climate change.
ChinaFAQs’ mission is to provide credible data, research, and direct interaction with the experts network to increase the understanding of China’s climate and energy policies and the implications of such policies and actions among Members of the U.S. Congress, officials at federal agencies, and opinion leaders.
Prior to WRI, Geoffrey has worked as an intern for the House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs. During his time on Capitol Hill, Geoffrey was selected to participate in the Stennis Center for Public Service Leadership’s Program for Congressional Interns. Geoffrey has also interned for Democracy: A Journal of Ideas.
Geoffrey holds a B.A. in Political Science from Haverford College, where he conducted research on China’s energy security and foreign policy, as well as American energy and environmental policy reform efforts.
Geoffrey was a four year member of the Haverford Varsity Soccer Team. In addition to soccer, Geoffrey enjoys biking, running, and traveling to new places.
