Gib Hedstrom has advised CEOs and board members about environmental and business challenges for over 25 years. He has reported directly to boards of directors of Fortune 500 companies on over 60 occasions, often meeting with outside directors in executive session.
After 20 years at Arthur D. Little, Hedstrom founded Hedstrom Associates in 2004. The firm provides executive counsel on sustainability, governance and strategy. Working with The Conference Board, he runs three separate councils for chief sustainability officers.
Hedstrom has authored several books and written dozens of articles related to governance, strategy and sustainability. His most recent book and a companion, "Handbook for the Corporate Sustainability Scorecard," are based on the Corporate Sustainability Scorecard, a company rating system designed for the C-suite. Hedstrom earned his MBA and MS from the University of Michigan and serves on the board of Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise.
