Holly Barrett heads Brand Cool’s strategy development, research and PR efforts. As a respected brand and marketing guru, Holly’s specialty is helping clients tell the right story through the right channels, a skill she’s developed over two decades in marketing and public relations. She can be described as one part research powerhouse and one part nimble strategic thinker, a combination that allows her to glean game-changing insights from vast amounts of information, and translate complex issues into brand strengths. In addition to providing research and analysis across several energy accounts at Brand Cool, she has developed and executed brand and marketing strategies for a long list of Fortune 500 clients, including Mobil, Motorola, IBM, Garlock (EnPro Industries), Harris RF, ViewSonic and Sprint. In her spare time, she teaches branding and marketing to entrepreneurs at High Tech Rochester. Most recently, Holly has worked with brands including Pacific Gas & Electric, NYSERDA, Consortium for Energy Efficiency Motor Decisions Matter program, the Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships DesignLights Consortium progam, and the National Fenestration Rating Council.
