GreenBiz announces rebrand of growing peer network to Trellis Network
Formerly the GreenBiz Executive Network, Trellis Network supports teams driving sustainable transformation

OAKLAND, Calif., February 12, 2024 — GreenBiz announced the rebrand of its GreenBiz Executive Network to Trellis Network, its rapidly growing member-driven community supporting sustainable transformation.

Though the name is changing, the network will continue to provide the value its members have come to expect over the past 15 years: providing a trusted, member-driven community that deepens exchanges and builds capacity for its members.

Now, more than ever, sustainability teams are working in tandem with functions across their organizations in order to achieve increasingly ambitious goals. Like a trellis, the Trellis Network provides a strong support system for its members to execute on increasingly ambitious goals that sustainability teams cannot achieve alone.

"The power of Trellis Network comes from convening our incredible members under Chatham House rule,” said John Davies, GreenBiz Group’s Network President. “This creates a unique, trusted environment where members can openly share practices and challenge each other, enabling them to push further and faster toward more sustainable outcomes."

The network is exclusively for companies with annual revenues exceeding $1 billion. Among its more than 150 members are some of the largest companies in the world: Amazon, Citi, Colgate-Palmolive, Disney, eBay, GM, Google, IBM, Keurig Dr. Pepper, Legrand, LinkedIn, Mastercard, Meta, Nike, PG&E, Salesforce, Target, United Airlines, UPS, and more.

In 2023, the network expanded its offering to include uncapped participation from employees of member companies in a variety of interest groups designed to foster deeper exchanges in strategic focus areas: North America Strategy, Europe Strategy, Nature & Biodiversity, Transportation & Logistics and Circularity. As part of today’s announcement, GreenBiz also shared plans for expanding the number of Trellis Network interest groups in 2024 to include: Sourcing & Procurement, Carbon Markets, Communications, Legal and Finance.
