Jack Allen has been an innovative supply chain leader and entrepreneur for more than 40 years. He currently leads a global organization that manages Supply Chain Risk, Resiliency, Security, Sustainability, and Circular Economy for Cisco. Previously he held a variety of leadership positions in Manufacturing, Materials, Procurement, Planning, Global Supply Chain Systems, and Logistics. Jack is also a pioneer and serial entrepreneur, and has started two companies, both of which still operate today. Throughout his career, Jack has focused on creating innovative solutions and his team was awarded the NextGen Supply Chain Award for Digital Disruption in 2019.
Jack currently serves on the boards of Georgia Tech’s Supply Chain and Logistics Institute, and the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business, helping drive innovation, digitization, and sustainability through his work with the University. For fun, Jack helps advise his wife on her IT startup which helps companies digitize their businesses. They are passionate about STEM, and they coach, sponsor, and provide supplies for school-age robotics teams with a goal of building the next generation of diverse engineers. They also help their two younger boys design, 3D print, and build aquatic and combat robots.
