Jesse Patrick
Farmer-Leader
United Soybean Board
Jesse Patrick lives in central Georgia, where he farms with his father. They grow soybeans, corn, wheat and hay. In addition, they have a 200-head commercial cow/calf operation. Jesse is a seventh-generation farmer working to secure the farm for future generations, despite the urban sprawl drawing ever closer to his land.
This is Jesse’s second year as a farmer-leader on the United Soybean Board. He serves on the Supply Action Team in the Infrastructure & Connectivity Priority Area.
In addition to farming, Jesse is a real estate agent specializing in land and commercial properties. He previously served on the State Farm Bureau YF&R committee. He is currently a county Farm Bureau president, as well as chairman of the Georgia Farm Bureau Feedgrain/Soybean Commodity Committee.
For the past two years, Jesse has served on the Georgia Agricultural Commodity Committee for Soybeans and the Georgia/Florida Soybean Association board. He is a member of the Georgia Cattlemen’s Association and completed the Corteva Young Leaders program. He is also active in his local church.
Jesse believes that biodiesel is a great opportunity for the soybean industry, but newly established foreign markets are just as important.
