Klaus Kunz holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry and a degree in economics. He joined Bayer in 2001 and has gained 18 years of experience directing business strategic topics in R&D at a global level, taking leadership roles in research, R&D project management, and regulatory and public / governmental affairs, including issues management and stakeholder engagement. Since 2018 he is leading Sustainability & Business Stewardship in Bayer Crop Science. Klaus is passionate about driving innovation and change, cross-cultural collaboration, politics and history, also holding a lectureship for chemistry at the University of Aachen. He is married with three children.
