Director, Corporate Responsibility
Kyle Cahill is director of corporate responsibility at John Hancock/Manulife, where he leads the organization’s sustainability efforts in the United States.
Prior to John Hancock, Cahill was director of sustainability and environmental health at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, where he was responsible for the company’s sustainability strategy and programs focused on improving the environmental health of members and Massachusetts communities. Prior to Blue Cross, Kyle led Oxfam America’s work on poverty footprinting and worked at Environmental Defense Fund — engaging the private sector on environmental initiatives addressing climate change, safer products and materials, water use and waste reduction. Kyle earned his MBA focused in social responsibility from the Isenberg School at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and his BA from Amherst College.
