Lois Forde-Kohler is the Family Care Sustainability Director and Corporate Forestry Footprint Owner at Procter & Gamble. She has a passion for papermaking and sustainability, and previously held roles as an engineer working on materials for Charmin, Bounty and Puffs and in Engineering, Manufacturing and Research & Development. Lois grew up in Northeast Iowa on a farm and attended Luther College where she received her B.A. in Chemistry, Biology and German. After completing her undergraduate studies, Lois attended the Institute of Paper Science and Technology, now known as the Renewable Bioproducts Institute at Georgia Tech, where she received her M.S. and Ph.D. in Paper Science and Engineering.
