Madeleine Galvin is a research analyst for WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. Prior to joining WRI, Madeleine was a field intern at a historic preservation planning and architecture firm in NYC. She has a wide range of research experiences, including work on infrastructure investment portfolios in upstate New York, sustainable nighttime lighting in Cartagena, Colombia, and transit-oriented development in Rome, Italy. She has worked with both the public and private sectors and is interested in how they can be successfully intertwined to optimize modern city life. She holds a bachelor's degree in urban and regional studies from Cornell University’s School of Architecture, Art, and Planning.
