Marco Krapels

Marco Krapels is a Partner with private equity firm Pegasus Capital Advisors. Prior to joining Pegasus, he was an Executive Vice President with Rabobank where he managed various divisions over his 18-year career with the bank. Since 2007, Krapels led Rabobank N.A.’s renewable energy finance division, capital markets and specialty finance areas in California. He was a member of the bank’s credit committee and also co-chaired its corporate social responsibility (CSR) committee. Krapels closed over $10 billion of debt transactions during his banking career in the food, energy and water sectors. He managed teams in London, the Netherlands and the U.S.. Krapels has spoken about the renewable energy sector at Google Talks, the Nantucket Project, the San Francisco Commonwealth Club and has been featured in various publications, including The New York Times, Forbes and the San Francisco Chronicle. He is on the board of renewable energy focused non-profit foundations The Solutions Project and Empowered by Light. He received his B.S. with a major in economics from Jacksonville State University and attended the Kellogg School of Management’s Executive Education Program in General Management.
