Mark Aspelin is founder and CEO of Profitable Conservation LLC and author of the newly released book "Profitable Conservation: Business Strategies That Boost Your Bottom Line, Protect Wildlife, and Conserve Biodiversity."
Over the past two decades, Mark has managed a wide variety of corporate sustainability and environmental management projects for Fortune 500 corporations, NGOs, and government agencies. Mark’s educational background includes an MBA in Natural Resource & Environmental Management from the University of Texas at Austin, an MS in Biology from Creighton University, a BS in Biology from the University of Notre Dame, Sustainability Reporting Certification from GRI, and Project Management Professional Certification since 2005. Mark has traveled the globe, visiting 100 countries and all 50 U.S. states, but he considers New Mexico and the San Francisco Bay Area to be home.
