As associate director of communications at the Center for Carbon Removal, Miriam Swaffer helps purpose-driven organizations realize their big visions and get their messages out with power, ease and joy. She mobilizes businesses, farmers and policymakers to invent and fund the new carbon economy. Miriam brings more than a decade of success leading strategic policy and communications campaigns. Prior to joining the center, Miriam was with the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS). At UCS, Miriam won policies that reduced climate change pollution from deforestation, transportation and electricity. She holds a degree in International Development and Social Change from Clark University.
