Morten Bo Christiansen, senior vice president at A.P. Moller–Maersk, has been leading the decarbonization team since 2021. He is responsible for setting the vision, developing relevant expertise and roadmaps, and enabling the execution of the path for Maersk, the global integrator of container logistics, to achieve net zero GHG emissions by 2040. Prior to this, he was the principal of the Boston Consulting Group and a senior specialist and a structural engineer at COWI. Morten holds a master's degree in civil engineering and a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from DTU — Technical University of Denmark.
