Clear Your Cluttered Embalming Room with Frigid Fluid's New Recycling Program

<p>Frigid Fluid Co. has developed a recycling program that gives members a free recycling bin for bottles from embalming fluid and other products, along with a discount on purchases.<br /> &nbsp;</p>

Frigid Fluid Co. is making recycling pay for funeral homes that use its embalming fluid and other products.

The company's new recycling program is free to join and provides members with a free recycling bin and a 10 percent discount on Frigid-manufactured products.

"We hope that many funeral homes are already recycling the plastic bottles used in their day to day operations," said Steve Yeazel, Frigid Fluid's operations manager. "However, as a manufacturer of products packaged in plastic, we felt compelled to bring forth a company-sanctioned recycling initiative."

The recycling bins are intended for use with local recycling collections. All of Frigid Fluid's bottles are made of commonly-collected HDPE (identified with resin code 2). The caps are polypropylene (resin code 5), which is not commonly collected outside of specific programs like Preserve's Gimme 5 and Aveda's bottle cap collections.
