Octavia Payne

Octavia is the Communications Coordinator for Global Forest Watch (GFW). She provides communications and outreach support to bring the World Resources Institute's dynamic online forest monitoring and alert tool to new audiences and engage stakeholders.

Prior to joining WRI, Octavia spent three years at Edelman in Washington, D.C., where she managed influencer engagement and content and message development. She also aided in media outreach, event planning and issues monitoring for a host of private and public sector clients.

Octavia holds a B.A. and Anthropology from University of Pennsylvania.
