Rachael Petersen

Rachael is the Research Assistant for Global Forest Watch (GFW). She assists in the acquisition and analysis of geospatial data sets related to the monitoring and management of forests. She also writes blogs and other outreach materials illustrating how remote sensing and open data promote improved forest management. Finally, Rachael oversees the development of crowdsourcing applications that enable everyday citizens to contribute to forest monitoring.
