
Rebecca Esau

Rebecca Esau is a manager with Rocky Mountain Institute’s buildings practice where she leads projects within the Pathways to Zero initiative. Rebecca employs her experience as a licensed architect and deep knowledge of high performance buildings to drive critical research for RMI’s grid interactive buildings and low-embodied carbon work.
Prior to joining RMI in 2020, Rebecca was manager of projects at Building Energy Exchange, a New York City based non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the transition to healthy, comfortable, and energy efficient buildings. Rebecca is a registered architect and has worked on a variety of design and construction projects across North America for private, institutional, and corporate clients.
