Robert Pojasek
Robert B. Pojasek, Ph.D., is Senior Managing Scientist at Exponent and an internationally recognized expert on the topic of business sustainability and process improvement. With 38 years experience working with a diverse range of manufacturing and service sectors, non-government organizations and governments, Bob has helped organizations plan and implement sustainability programs that operate at the local level.
His publications include the book "Making the Business Case for Environment, Health & Safety," which won the APEX Award for Publication Excellence in 2006. Bob also authored the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency publication "An Organizational Approach to Pollution Prevention.”
Bob was named "P2 Champion" by the National Pollution Prevention Roundtable in 2006. He also was honored for his pollution prevention work in Canada and received an award from the Canadian Pollution Prevention Roundtable in the same year. Bob is an adjunct professor at Harvard University, where he teaches a popular distance-learning course, “Strategies for Sustainability Management.” He won the Petra T. Shattuck Excellence in Teaching Award in 2008. Bob, who has served as a consultant and on numerous industry and government advisory boards worldwide, received his bachelor's degree with high distinction at Rutgers University.
