Center for Transportation and the Environment
Mrs. Norton has worked in clean energy for 10 years building experience in fleet transition planning, battery electric bus deployments, local policy development and implementation, program development and management, and community outreach. Mrs. Norton is managing the deployment of battery electric buses and charging infrastructure for multiple agencies. For these deployment projects, Mrs. Norton identifies solutions to improve operational efficiencies in situations such as cold weather environments. Mrs. Norton also leads the development of transition plans for both transit and municipal fleets. In such transition plans, Mrs. Norton identifies options to achieve an agency’s zero-emission goals by assessing multiple vehicle/charging technologies, applying clear assumptions for cold weather environments, and developing charging strategies.
Mrs. Norton is well trained in developing partnerships with diverse stakeholders, including non-profits, government, academia, residents, and businesses with proven results in electric fleet planning.
