Sara Worl is pursuing a master's degree in environmental studies at the University of Oregon. After receiving a bachelor's degree in 2007 in planning, public policy and management with minors in Spanish and Latin American studies, Sara worked for community leadership and youth development non-profit organizations throughout Oregon and in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her interests in land management and environmental studies deepened while working at the Willamette National Forest on equity, community building, and youth engagement initiatives. Her research interests include ecological restoration, Indigenous environmental studies, settler colonialism and land management.
