Shuying "Irene" Xu

Shuying Xu is senior consultant and waste service manager of Greenment in Shanghai. Her primary areas of focus are green supply chain, EHS regulatory service, solid waste management, EHS compliance audit, environmental due diligence and environmental management system implementation support for multiple industries including electronics, automobile, textile, chemicals and pharmaceutical industries. Xu has more than seven years of work experience in the field of EHS consulting and environmental engineering. She has an in-depth understanding of China’s EHS laws and applies diversified knowledge of EHS principles and practices to a broad variety of projects. Xu graduated from SUNY at Buffalo with a master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Environmental and Water Resources Engineering). Before joining Greenment, she worked at Bergmann Associates in Albany, New York, as design engineer from 2014 to 2016 and prior to that, as an environmental engineer from 2009 to 2010. During her time at Bergmann Associates she was heavily involved in providing civil and environmental engineering services for retail, commercial and residential projects.
