Stephen Lezak is a fellow with the Climate Intelligence program at RMI. He helps design next-generation climate solutions that safeguard equitable and sustainable futures.
Stephen is a researcher, writer, and advocate who works across several sectors to drive transformative change. He has served as an expert reviewer for the IPCC’s Sixth Assessment Report and has advised two US presidential campaigns on climate policy. In addition to his work at RMI, he is a researcher at the University of Oxford Smith School on Enterprise & the Environment and a Gates Scholar at the University of Cambridge, where he is pursuing a PhD. Stephen’s articles and essays have appeared in a variety of academic and non-academic outlets, including The Independent, Grist, Emergence, and The Arizona Republic.
