Sunny Parr

Sunny serves as the director of Corporate Affairs for Ralphs, Food 4 Less and Foods Co. – the California banners of The Kroger Co. With annual revenues of $148 billion, Kroger is the country’s supermarket chain and ranks #21 on the Fortune 500 list. In her role, she oversees communications, media relations, government relations and philanthropy for the state by elevating our story and building meaningful relationships that enhance our reputation and license to operate. She is committed to living Kroger’s purpose to Feed the Human Spirit. 

Previously, she served as Executive Director and Head of Philanthropy at Kroger, leading the corporate philanthropic strategy and grantmaking across the Kroger Family of companies. She was responsible for both The Kroger Co. Foundation and the Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Foundation, totaling in over $135 million in assets. She grew the philanthropic impact and grantmaking by 100% from 2017 to 2022 and also launched the $10 million Innovation Fund to provide grant support to innovative startups, solutions and technologies aligned to Kroger’s Zero Hunger | Zero Waste mission.
