Tyeler Matsuo is a Senior Associate with the Climate-Aligned Industries team and Lead on Oil & Gas Finance for RMI’s Center for Climate-Aligned Finance.
Prior to joining RMI, Tyeler received her PhD from ETH Zurich, with her dissertation focusing on national policies that align low-carbon energy and development goals. Alongside her PhD, she also worked with the World Bank’s Energy & Extractives Global Practice, where she supported renewable electricity lending and technical assistance projects. Before her PhD, Tyeler also worked for a climate policy consultancy and a green energy engineering, procurement, and construction firm.
