Andrew Wu is the research analyst for the New Restoration Economy, which aims to catalyze investment in restoration projects through business, financial and policy solutions. Together with the Nature Conservancy, WRI’s partner on this work, the New Restoration Economy focuses on three key geographies: Brazil; Kenya; and the United States.
Previously, Andrew was engaged in the field of environmental education, developing a sustainability education toolkit for implementation across schools in Barbados. Then, while completing his Master of Environmental Management program at the Yale School of Forestry, Andrew pivoted towards a focus on conservation finance and environmental economics.
Aside from his MEM degree from Yale University, Andrew also holds a honors B.A.&Sc. in Environment from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
